Installation Guide For Windows Devices

Create Account

Type your name and email address, check the box to agree to the terms, and click “Create Account.”

You will receive a welcome email from Solid Backup that contains further instructions.

Check your Inbox

Check your inbox for an email titled “Welcome to Solid Backup”.

Review the email and scroll down to find the download option. Click on it to start the download.

You will be directed to a new page containing the Windows and macOS setup files.

Download the Software

Click the “Download for Windows” Button above.

The setup file will automatically download the Windows client.

Open the Software

To open the application, double-click on it. After that, you will see a welcome screen.

Click on “Next” to proceed.

Confirm the location

Review the license agreement and click “I Accept the agreement” then “Next”.

Confirm the installation folder by clicking “Next”.

Begin Installation

Select “Anyone on this computer” or “Me only” as your preference.

Click “Next” to begin the installation. Wait for the installation to finish, and then click “Finish” to launch the application.

Signup Now!!

On the main screen, select “Free Trial”
Register your account by providing your name, the email address you used when you created the account, and your password.

Click “OK” when done.

The software is now installed, and you can start backing up your data.

You have downloaded, installed and configured the Solid Backup software on your Windows device.
